This Shoumei White Tea was made from wild tea trees that were fifty or sixty years old.

Where is this Shoumei White Tea from?
"Good tea comes from high mountains and misty clouds." The gold medal-winning Baimudan are picked from Zhenghe 政和 high-altitude tea gardens at an altitude of over 800 meters, with an advantage in terms of ecological environment:

1. Persistent Cloud Cover and Soft, Diffuse Light: High-altitude areas have low temperatures and abundant moisture. From morning to midday, clouds and mist linger, filtering strong sunlight. Tea trees receive predominantly blue-violet diffused light for extended periods, leading to a significant accumulation of amino acids and aromatic substances. This results in a clear, sweet, and refreshing tea with very low bitterness.
2. Extreme Diurnal Temperature Variation and Nutrient Accumulation: The enclosed terrain of the valley allows for diurnal temperature variations of up to 15°C. During the day, photosynthesis accumulates sugars and amino acids, while the low nighttime temperatures inhibit their consumption. This results in ample precipitation of tea polyphenols, pectin, and minerals, making the tea leaves rich in nutrients and far more resistant to multiple infusions than those from lower-mountain tea regions.

Origin: Zhenghe City, Fujian province, China

Tea features: This white tea, now in its fifth year of aging, is developing floral notes and the honey-like, aged aromas characteristic of aged tea, while retaining its rich, layered milky fragrance. At this stage of five years of aging, the milky, floral, honey, and aged aromas are abundant, long-lasting, and sophisticated. The tea liquor is sweet, glutinous, and has a refined, slightly wild character.
It has the aroma of bamboo leaves, grains, and milk, like a light sugarcane juice. It has a quick sweetening effect, is very resistant to brewing, and tastes great whether steeped or left to steep.
Regarding white tea, a milky aroma is actually quite rare.
Zhenghe white tea has a higher probability of developing a milky aroma than Fuding white tea, but it is still rare. It requires good weather, good processing, suitable temperature and humidity conditions, and a state of dehydration to produce a milky, floral, and sweet aroma.

Storage: Stored in cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight. Storage environment temperature below 30℃ (86°F)
Benefits of white tea: Fuding white tea is known as " one year tea, three years medicine, seven years treasures". White tea is a treasure among teas. It has the health benefits of three resistances (anti-radiation, anti-oxidation, and anti-cancer) and three reductions (lowering blood pressure, lowering blood lipids, and lowering blood sugar). In addition, it can also sober up, clear away heat and moisten the lungs, reduce inflammation and detoxify, eliminate fatigue, and lose weight. It is especially effective for physical discomfort and digestive dysfunction caused by excessive smoking and drinking, excessive greasy food, and excessive liver fire.
