The shape of this pot is derived from the Chinese bronze tripod about 2000 years ago. The belly is round and full, the cover is round and plump, and the arched button is equipped with a ring, which is full of ancient charm. The tripod feet are simple and round, steady and practical.
Why brew tea with Yixing clay teapots?
The reason why the Yixing purple clay teapot has the function of "improvement and fragrance retention" is mainly determined by the characteristics of the purple clay clay. The purple clay teapot is a porous material with a double-pore structure. The pores are very dense and have strong adsorption forces. It can absorb the aroma of tea and keep it for a long time. However, glazed ceramic teapots lack this function. Therefore, it's very fit for brewing aged tea.
