This Yixing teapot is called the Jinglan pot. This teapot has a small capacity and is very fit for brewing Chinese Gongfucha. The diameter of the teapot is large enough so that you can put big-leaf tea inside very easily.
Each Yixing teapot is made through dozens of tedious manual processes to create the quality you can rest assured of.
Why brew tea with Yixing clay teapots?
The reason why the Yixing purple clay teapot has the function of "improvement and fragrance retention" is mainly determined by the characteristics of the purple clay clay. The purple clay teapot is a porous material with a double-pore structure. The pores are very dense and have strong adsorption forces. It can absorb the aroma of tea and keep it for a long time.
