Original Handpainted Raw Ore Arita ware Teapot Chinese Master Pottery Ceramic Japanese Ceramic Tea Ceremony
Arita-yaki (有田焼, Arita-yaki) is a Japanese pottery. Arita-yaki originated from the historic town of Arita in Saga Prefecture, Japan, and is the oldest center of porcelain production in Japanese history. Arita-yaki is a pure white porcelain base with gorgeous glaze and delicate paintings.
This beautiful teapot is made from Jingdezhen ceramic mud in China. First, the ceramicist applies Arita glaze on it, and then a special soda glaze is applied. The teapot is processed under electric and wood-fired furnaces, and the craftsmen hand-paint daisy patterns again and fire it again.
