The design of this Yixing teapot is inspired by the weighing bowl of the Qin Dynasty, with its straight pot mouth bridge-shaped button and ear-shaped handle. Please see the photo.
This ultra-high-temperature mud is fired in the kiln for 4 times, the finished product is bronze-gray, with a rough surface. Iron particles are precipitated to soften the water quality and make the water flow smoothly.
Why brew tea with Yixing clay teapots?
The reason why the Yixing purple clay teapot has the function of "improvement and fragrance retention" is mainly determined by the characteristics of the purple clay clay. The purple clay teapot is a porous material with a double-pore structure. The pores are very dense and have strong adsorption forces. It can absorb the aroma of tea and keep it for a long time. However, glazed ceramic teapots lack this function. Therefore, it's very fit for brewing aged tea.
There is a hole filter inside the teapot. Besides, this teapot has a graceful and smooth pouring.
