Handpainted Chinese Yixing Zisha Purple Clay Teapot Yixing Ware Flower Teapot

This pear-shaped pot is handmade. There are two pear-shaped pots with different clay patterns to choose from. It is made of Yixing clay as the primary clay material. It is shaped like a pear and is hand painted with Chinese magnolia/peony on the pot. 

Each Yixing teapot is made through dozens of tedious manual processes to create the quality you can rest assured of. 

Why brew tea with Yixing clay teapots?

The reason why the Yixing purple clay teapot has the function of "improvement and fragrance retention" is mainly determined by the characteristics of the purple clay clay. The purple clay teapot is a porous material with a double-pore structure. The pores are very dense and have strong adsorption forces. It can absorb the aroma of tea and keep it for a long time. However, glazed ceramic teapots lack this function. Therefore, it's very fit for brewing aged tea.

There is a hole filter inside the teapot. Besides, this teapot has a graceful and smooth pouring.
